electives.

it was so cool.
and hilarious.
and informative.
we did sleeping and dreams today, really interesting.
the mass sleep-walking was simple hilarious.
and we kept cracking up.
they should totally offer psychology as a subject and not just an elective. i bet everyone will score As for it.
aiming for an exceptional(:
read up a little about psychology last year so i though it was really cool.
and silent hill: origins is so cool(:
bit freaky if you play it at night in a dark room on your own
but it's cool if you play it in daylight with people surrounding you(:
i love the psp.




7periods day today
ihcore was well, essential in some sense.
triple biology was quite taxing.
ihoption was okay. i like my group(:
finally came the long-awaited only double period break.
language arts was exasperating i guess.

there was this really funny scene.
christopher told the class to have some mass cleaning session right
then me and jon were like, chris never clean!
so we decided to um, laugh and stuff.

then i got electrocuted by my laptop charger.
i am sending it to the repair shop asap.
i hate my charger.
then went online, and kwanwei was hyper for some weird reason.
he kept spamming the conversation.

i've decided to post my already-made-at-the-start-of-the-year new year resolutions.

1. to stay bloody focused in class and grasp every word the teacher says.
2. to revise everyday.
3. to improve my chinese and get an a1 for the hcl paper. hua yu cool.
4. to always remember that grudge.
5. to spur myself on because of that grudge.
6. to complete all of the above. it is a must.

subconscious mind says: yes.

second week of school.
buried under this pile of homework already.
projects mostly.
have to present our chinese powerpoint slides tomorrow.
hope i won't make any mistakes.

today was supposed to be a triple-science day.
sadly, there was no chemistry.
biology was terribly illuminating. and we were moving really fast.
cloverfield was inspirational.
oh and this phone game called "brain juice" sprouted in class today.
i think kenneth started it.
it's this mental math thing. you have to solve simple math questions and when the time runs out, the system tells you how fast you are.

service learning camp's over
lessons are starting tomorrow=.=
amazing monday.
anyway, camp was fun:) we did lots of fun stuff as a group, class and cohort so there was alot of interaction and stuff.
like always, lazy ol' me is too lazy to post everything that happened so i'll just see what i can recall hmm.

1. my MBTI's ENTJ. i think. it's Extrovert-Intuitive-Thinking-Judging. my nickname's TYRANT. how can i be a tyrant?? lol.
2. THE BUS FLY. i was sitting on the seat happily until chris suddenly said, "siling, turn your head to your right." and at that moment i heard a loud buzzing noiseO.O wth it was a FLY. usually i just chase them away but that particular fly refused to fly away. and it was unusually colorful. i got really freaked out lol, then alicia and kenneth were doing some spastic thing with the fly also. and they messed up my hair! arg.
3. murder mayhem. it was really fun^^ had to find out who the murderer was. alicia's group presentation was simply hilarious XD oh and the water station was fun too:)
4. the facilitators. they were really nice. i think sarah's the nicest facilitator i've ever met, and she was really inspirational, especially during the last part of the camp. it was so emotional. *tears*

lessons start tomorrow.
quite jealous of the ip1s. bc wk for them!

sea regatta's today!
yet sadly we didn't get to go =.=
quite alot of people from my class went to this workshop thing
coz we're good and golden ^^
me, amanda, kwanwei, szeying, liushuang and marcus.
i think.

so first we had to endure the horrible moments where we saw people donned in their pe or black shirts and off to east coast they went.
great.
then we went to the electives hub for the workshop.
actually, i thought it wasn't that bad.
funny really, because we kept cracking up:D
and kwanwei wore a ladybug maskX)
everyone else looked okay in their masks, but kwanwei's ladybug somehow looked a bit weird O.o
then the last part of everything was also damn funnyXD
we were supposed to do smth with shoes
must be high and stuff
so we arranged our shoes at the very top of the beehive thingy in the electives hubX) and somehow when it was done, it resembled a large boot^^

yea that's about it:)

school started le..
yesterday was really kinda boring coz there was practically nothing to do at all
so started off with combined asssembly
the principal was honestly crapping.
three Cs, i think i've heard it before lol.
then we were informed of stuff happening in term1
oh we have a camp next week!
quite unexpected really. mr boy said he told us last year or smth, i must have been sleeping zz.
oh and our timetable's crazy again lol.

then after that went to do the poster for cca walkabout
it was quite crappy really.
but oh well

we went to watch a movie later on. there was popcorn, free drinks and the seats were damn comfy. the movie was action-packed, horrifying and fantasy-like.
DREAM ON.
in actual fact, we went to watch the movie: five people you meet in heaven
or smth like that
it was quite okay at the start
then it started to get a bit irritating coz the five people took so long to come out.
halfway, we were half-dead lol.
and apparently, we have to a piece of homework(?) to do. how typical.

today went to sunrice to cook.
was in the same group as kwanwei and liushuang.
first did some napkin folding thing. the end-products were quite cute really.
then fruit-carving. the thai chef was nice, he helped us cut the fruits lol.
then we cooked!
as in not the fruit
we started cooking our lunch.
first was this roast chicken thingy, liushuang sorta dumped lots of soy sauce and dark sauce in so there was alot alot alot of sauceXD
we thought it would be veryveryvery salty but it turned out alright actually:)
OH YES.
I MASSAGED THE CHICKEN.
you have to give me credit for that lol. the chef was like: "massage the wings first!" then i took both wings and massaged them. actually it was more like flapping the wings together.
then we prepared this dessert topping.
IT WAS LIKE OMG.
added alot of sweet stuff inside then left it in sugary water to boil.
in the end the sugar DECOMPOSED.
and the whole thing ended up black and utterly gross.
then we were standing near to it and we were like, omgosh what's that smell=.=
it was damn smelly man.
lastly we did this wrap thingy and mashpotato.
and we made the largest mistake ever: we made 6 wraps.
it tasted reallyreally weird because of the basil and mint leaf so we were damn afraid to eat it lol.
left 2 in the end after lunch so er, guess what we did with itXD
one played hide-and-seek under the chicken skin and bones:)

ON THE WAY BACK TO SCHOOL ON THE BUS.
omg
me and kwanwei were practically LAUGHING ALL THE WAY.
because of peace centre.
which became 建安大厦 in chinese.
wth??
建安 is so not peace manX)
then we were like 世界建安 XDD

tmr there's special duty.
wonder what that is.
