(i know i'm not supposed to list them with bullet points and all but let's heck it for now.)
similarities:
1. both severus snape and the phantom are emo boys. this can be seen through the long black robes they both wear and the long wavy black hair they keep.
2. both severus snape and the phantom are very dedicated people. severus snape has dedicated almost his whole life to lily potter and the phantom did the same to the lead actress in the play (i sadly forgot her name).
3. both severus snape and the phantom have very crappy childhoods. severus snape has been teased and ridiculed in his school and the phantom, well, i don't think i have to say anything about it.
differences:
1. severus snape is exceptionally good at making potions and the dark arts whereas the phantom is exceptionally good at singing. not that i'm complaining but i can't imagine snape singing. O.o
2. severus snape has an ugly dark mark on his arm whereas the phantom has a, um, sad face. (different sorts of mutilation) (hm.)

so today was helmsman once again.
the lessons were quite boring, to be honest.
slashing seems so much more interesting.
council meeting later on wasn't too bad
