back from sydney(: enjoyed the trip overall. i thought it was great really. for me, sydney was better than korea. but that's just one man's opinion. there were a few things which i thought were really awesome and i guess i'll mention them here first (coz i probably won't be posting a whole post on the entire trip, like last year's korea trip) :
1. the play was AWESOME. "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" it was great. there were some parts that i couldn't catch, but overall, it was amazing. the creepiness, the scary bits, the funny parts, everything was so cool. especially liked the two sisters bit. they were so creepy, but so cool. the audience thingy was cool too, and that guy was really sporting. plays are nice(:
2. the university visits. thought they were really helpful and stuff. the students and tutors were cool. they told us loads of stuff about studying there and all. unsw's goodie bag has lots of stuff but macq.'s talk was better i thought.
3. hunter valley. i really like the zoo, the cheese factory and vineyard. yea all of them. good combination of fun and learning.
4. the art gallery of nsw. the building's exterior was so cool already. the chalk drawings were funny. and our guide inside was cool. learned loads from her. aboriginal art, modern art, etc. this was definitely better than the art museum we visited at korea. MUCH better.
and lastly, the sydney opera house. the last time i went to the opera house, i just thought, oh okay. an opera house. cool. but this time, i think i learned so much more about the opera house, like its history, structure, interior and exterior..
therefore overall, i really enjoyed this trip. congratulations teachers, you have succeeded.

flying off to sydney tomorrow. while packing and stuff, suddenly didn't felt like going. i think im going to miss my home. staying at home, having lots of time to myself, listening to music, emoing in my emo corner, talking to my parents, relaxing and looking at stuff around in my room. i am going to miss those stuff.
same feeling as last year for korea trip. so i was talking to I.N. again and he composed(:
The Life of Ian Albert and Jeremy Nicholas by I.N. It's hard to know that things have changed. Understanding that I won't see you, it is pain. Long days with grey skies patching above The days without you, full of sadness Lasted this long without seeing your face 545 days before, full of you I gazed I guess I didn't treasure that enough, The new started with a scary blast. You stopped everything, no connection at all. Why, I asked you, reaching the hall. You answer silently, it is not you, it's me, Forget about me and go forth thee. I can't, I say, you're there in my mind. I'd give up all to see you be fine. With a small smile, you reply: I love you, but society must die. Then let it die! I'll kill it now! But then I thought, I can't even kill a hound. You disappeared right before my eyes, I couldn't shout wait, I couldn't say bye. The next time I saw you was ages later, You were laughing and smiling more than ever. You were happy, I thought, and that is enough To make me glad and then so rough The truth really is because I don't know If I should cry or I should go.
his best yet, to me. i suppose I.N. was feeling really poetic. i'll say the same things you say to me, but i don't think they'll work so im still thinking. give me time, i'll cheer you up. i'll get stuff from sydney for you too.
byebye singapore.

The Call - Regina Spektor
It started out as a feeling Which then grew into a hope Which then turned into a quiet thought Which then turned into a quiet word
And then that word grew louder and louder 'Til it was a battle cryI'll come back When you call me No need to say goodbye
Just because everything's changing Doesn't mean it's never been this way before All you can do is try to know who your friends are As you head off to the war
Pick a star on the dark horizon And follow the light You'll come back when it's over No need to say goodbye
You'll come back when it's over No need to say goodbye
Now we're back to the beginning It's just a feeling and no one knows yet But just because they can't feel it too Doesn't mean that you have to forget
Let your memories grow stronger and stronger 'Til they're before your eyes You'll come back When they call you No need to say goodbye
You'll come back When they call you No need to say goodbye

there are a lot things i would like to say to everyone and usually i do say them. but when i don't, it is usually because i don't have the chance to or i don't have the courage to.
and then I.N. will be there.
The Knight's Secret by I.N. You'll probably freak out the moment I say Something that expresses life as a way. It is so odd but it can't be denied Because love is something that's as strong as a tide. Then say she's the girl and the only one; She will be loved and whip out the gun. Kill all who stands in your way brave soldier, Protect her and your mission is completed dear sir.
